Welcome to Forest Lodge – The Retreat! These Terms & Conditions outline the terms of engagement between you (the customer) and Forest Lodge – The Retreat. By using our services or website, you agree to these terms.

1. Bookings and Payments

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payment secures your reservation and ensures the availability of your chosen wellness experiences.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All bookings require full payment at the time of reservation to secure your session.

Cancellation Window: Guests may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the scheduled session to receive a full refund or transfer the booking to another date.

Late Cancellations: For cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session, a 60% refund will be issued. The remaining 40% will cover operational costs, including therapist and guide fees.

No-Show Policy: No refunds will be issued for no-shows, as our team will still dedicate their time to your booking. However, no-shows are eligible for a 40% refund to cover operational costs, upon request.

Rescheduling: We are happy to offer a one-time complimentary rescheduling for no-shows or late cancellations if rebooked within 14 days, subject to availability.

3. Wellness Services
All wellness services, including massages, sauna sessions, and guided activities, are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to make adjustments to session times or reassign therapists, where necessary.

4. Health and Safety
Guests are responsible for informing us of any allergies, medications, or health conditions that may affect their participation in wellness activities.

Forest Lodge– The Retreat is not liable for adverse effects resulting from undisclosed health conditions.

5. Cannabis Wellness Products
Cannabis-infused products are available onsite and are subject to applicable South African regulations. These products are for personal use only and are not intended for resale.

6. Liability Disclaimer
Forest Lodge – The Retreat shall not be held responsible for injuries, damages, or losses incurred while on the property, except where caused by gross negligence on our part.

Guests participate in activities at their own risk.

7. Privacy Policy
Guest information, including health data, will be stored securely and used solely for the purpose of providing wellness services.

We do not share guest information with third parties without explicit consent.

8. Intellectual Property
All content, including logos, branding, and materials provided onsite or online, remains the intellectual property of Forest Lodge – The Retreat.

Guests may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

9. Modification of Terms
Forest Lodge – The Retreat reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Guests are encouraged to review these terms periodically for updates.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, through the relevant legal channels in South Africa.
